Initially, I created Chula and McQueen since they were my fur babies and needed some artwork in my new office. So, of course, I needed a cute portrait of them! (Chula passed back in 2013, but I wanted them to always be with me.) Cupcake, on the other hand, is not my pet. She’s my first commissioned pet portrait. I created these pieces for fun! I like to put on music, grab my materials and just create! But, I usually get inspired by my friend’s clippings. We send each other happy mail, which is art supplies and mixed clippings… you never know what will inspire you!
