Travel Tips
Since I do a lot traveling in general, I figure I would share some of my tips…
My general trips include:
Do your homework!
Research the area and get familiar with the location.
Make a list of places you want to visit and outline where you’re going.
If traveling internationally, learn the basics of their language.
Luggage wise…
PACK OLD CLOTHES! While traveling, throw-away your old clothes to make room for souvenirs and whatever else you want to buy.
Don’t look like a tourist!
Know the style of the area you’re visiting. The point is to blend in and not stand out.
Money wise…
Traveling Internationally - know the Currency!
Your bank will have a better/cheaper exchange rate than the airport.
Get a credit card just for traveling. This will help with currency exchange charges if made abroad.
Also, inform your bank when you’re going, so your card won’t get frozen when traveling.
Know the culture.
Be aware of items that may not be accessible in the place of vacation.
Pack your medications, creams, and other necessities.
Be prepared! Pack a first-aid kit - just in case.
If possible, bring a friend.
It’s so much more fun to travel with a friend than by yourself. Plus, it’s safer in numbers.
