Walk this Way
Walking is a healthy habit to include in your everyday lifestyle. “To get the most out of your walk, it’s important to set smart goals.”
Whatever your fitness level, it’s important to keep track of your step count. Do you know how many steps you need? If you don't, check below...
Steps per Day
To be considered “active” - you need to achieve 10,000 steps or more per day.
SMART GOALS
Above, I mentioned “Smart Goals.” If you don’t know what that is, here’s a quick refresher to help achieve your goals.
SMART is an acronym that you can use to guide your goal setting.
Specific (simple, sensible, significant).
Measurable (meaningful, motivating).
Achievable (agreed, attainable).
Relevant (reasonable, realistic and resourced, results-based).
Time bound (time-based, time limited, time/cost limited, timely, time-sensitive).
Make sure to include “smart” to each goal you list, so that your goals can be clear and achievable.
